The Reynolds Elementary School mission is for all students to achieve personal excellence:  academically, emotionally, socially, and culturally. Our team of educators, students, parents and community will work together to provide educational opportunities and support.  Our goal is for Reynolds students to maximize their potential as successful lifelong learners and contributing members of a global 21st century economy.  Thus, Reynolds Dual Language Immersion Program helps to ensure that we are preparing our students for a global economy and future career opportunities.

OUSD and e-flyer service Peachjar have come together to help reduce paper usage, costs and time promoting community flyers.  Click Reynolds School Peachjar to view school-site flyers.

Two - Way Bilingual Immersion Program

Option for Kindergarten Families

Information and Registration

  • The Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Program at Reynolds School is a language-oriented program designed to build fluency in both Spanish and English.  Native Spanish and English speaking children have the opportunity to develop their listening, speaking and writing skills in both languages.
  • In the Reynolds Two-Way Spanish Immersion Program, Spanish is used as the primary language of instruction in the first years.  English is introduced gradually into the curriculum.  All students receive a high quality instructional program centered on academic success in both Spanish and English.
  • The goal of the program is for all students to become biliterate and bilingual in two languages - English and the "target" language Spanish.
  • Families that are interested in learning more about the program may stop by or call the front office at: (760) 901-7200.
